'The Other Nights of Albufeira' cycle brings four shows to the Marina de Albufeira

This summer, the Marina de Albufeira will host four shows as part of the 'The Other Nights of Albufeira' cycle.

On July 5th, Gershwin's Concerto in F will take place, a piece that combines elements of jazz with a very strong rhythmic component.

Considered a milestone in the evolution of American identity, this work will be performed by pianist António Rosado, accompanied by the Portuguese Symphonic Band.

On July 19th, it will be the turn of the ballet 'Storm', by the Quorum Ballet Dance Company, accompanied by the Algarve Symphonic Orchestra.

With a script and original music by maestro Armando Mota and choreography by Daniel Cardoso, 'Storm' portrays a fictional story about the theme of climate change and how this current reality will affect the barrier islands of the Ria Formosa.

On August 16th, the show 'Amália Sinfónica' by the Lisbon Classical Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Rui Pinheiro and featuring singer Anabela, will take to the stage.

Finally, on September 10th, the ballet 'Carmina Burana' by the Vortice Dance Company will take place.

These shows start at 10pm, tickets cost 20 euros, and can be purchased at Ticketline.
